Happy Birthday Willy!

On this day in 1865 William Butler Yeats was born in Dublin. Great poetry is better heard than read.

Greatest poet that ever lived in my book. The Second Coming and The Cloths of Heaven are my two favorite poems. They are so very different its hard to imagine them coming from the same quill. An amazing man.

The most evocative poet of all time, and when you consider his plays, his writings on folklore and myth, truly a giant.
