Nice, haven't seen a music post here in a while!
A dj on a Friday radio show I listen to played a few of her songs, ranging from Loretta Lynn sounding stuff to Billie Holiday sounding stuff - she's quite versatile!
I figured she had to be from Austin, but no. She hails from Boise.
You know, they say that "Boise is the Austin of the North"... well maybe not, but still nice :)
Read somewhere that Boise is Austin a dozen years ago. They could not have been factoring in the music though...but hey, good things came out of Bakersfield, so who knows? :)
