While sites often try to justify copyright theft by saying they grabbed the image online because it's in "the public domain," that is a fallacy. U.S. copyright law makes no such distinction.

If you need proof, you can look my up on Facebook at Steve Foss Images or go to my website at www.stevefossimages.com. This image is in both places, with my copyright watermark intact.
