I see he's walking the comments back now, saying he was actually calling for the government to revisit the severity of mandatory sentencing laws. That's another fine idea, but that isn't what he says on the tape.
He says "I just believe that criminalizing marijuana, criminalizing possession of a few ounces of pot, and that kind of thing -- it's costing us a fortune, and it's ruining young people."
